Bethesda Mission is excited to announce an impactful Awareness Campaign Event focused on cervical cancer education and prevention. Join us on September 10th, 2024, for a day dedicated to spreading knowledge, dispelling myths, and empowering women to take control of their health.

Event Highlights

• Keynote Speakers: Hear from leading healthcare professionals, cervical cancer survivors, and advocates who will share their insights and personal stories.
• Educational Workshops: Participate in interactive sessions covering topics such as cervical cancer prevention, the importance of early detection, and understanding screening procedures.
• Screening Services: Free on-site cervical cancer screenings, including Pap smears and HPV testing, will be available throughout the day.
• Resource Booths: Visit our resource booths to collect informative materials, learn about preventive measures, and discover available support services.
• Q&A Sessions: Engage with experts during open Q&A sessions to address any questions or concerns you may have about cervical cancer.
• Survivor Stories: Be inspired by powerful testimonies from cervical cancer survivors, highlighting the importance of early detection and treatment.

Detailed Schedule

• 10:00 AM – Opening Ceremony: Welcome address by Bethesda Mission’s director and introduction of keynote speakers.
• 10:30 AM – Keynote Speech: Dr. Priya Nair, a leading oncologist, discusses the latest advancements in cervical cancer prevention and treatment.
• 11:30 AM – Survivor Story: An inspiring story from Sarah Johnson, a cervical cancer survivor, sharing her journey and the importance of regular screenings.
• 12:00 PM – Lunch Break: Complimentary lunch and networking opportunities.
• 1:00 PM – Workshop 1: “Understanding Cervical Cancer: Risks and Symptoms” led by Dr. Meena Rao.
• 2:00 PM – Workshop 2: “The Importance of Pap Smears and HPV Testing” conducted by Nurse Practitioner Anita Sharma.
• 3:00 PM – Screening Services: Free Pap smears and HPV testing begin, provided by our team of healthcare professionals.
• 4:00 PM – Q&A Session: Open forum with our panel of experts to answer your questions.
• 5:00 PM – Closing Remarks: Summary of the day’s events and a call to action to continue spreading awareness.
